Eyjafjallajökull and Eclipse Day
Mother Nature gave us a nice lesson on Butterfly Effect. How else we can relate an volcanic eruption and Eclipse Day. As you all know, the recent volcanic eruptions at Eyjafjallajökull has literally grounded all European flights. Because of this Daniel Megert could not catch his flight to India. He whats us to convey that it would have been his pleasure to interact with Eclipse community here. Hopefully, we will get another opportunity to catch up with him.
We are thankful to Rajesh Thakkar for accepting to present the Keynote address on such short notice. Rajesh is an wonderful orator and his passion for technology is contagious. He is the Lead Architect for Rational Project Conductor and a mentor for Agile Teams. As a Technology professional for more than 18 years, he has worked in various roles such as CTO, Architect and Senior Engineering Manager. While performing these roles, the focus has been on Enterprise Applications & Technology development based on Web Technologies and in domains such as Supply Chain Mgmt, Wireless Communications & Project and Portfolio Management. His research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks, Agile Methods, Massively Distributed Architectures & Renewable Energy. He has a Masters in Computer Science from Univ. of North Carolina.

Here are the rules of the game
Here are the rules of the game
- Think and prepare a topic related to Eclipse, preferably plug-in development.
No slides. No white-boards. No more than 10 slides. Bring them in a USB pen drive. Its OK if you want to do it without slides. - Mention your topic on the Unconference board.
- If there are more speakers than the time we have, then there will be a voting. And in that case, only voted topics will get a chance to speak.
- You will get not get more than 15 minutes to speak.
- Speakers can not participate. They can surely vote though.
