Thank you

Thank you for making Eclipse Day India 2011 a success. We had more and better presentations made as compared to last year. 50% more attendance - though it could have been much more had all those who registered had turned up.

Thank you Ashwani, Prakash, Supriya, Pavitraa, and everyone who made the event a success.

Thank you SAP Labs India for supporting the event so generously. Thank you Progress Software for continuing your support from last year - the t-shirts look really great. And a big thank you for all the attendees and speakers - you may the Eclipse community in India rock! We hope to hear more from you so do let your comments and thoughts flow.

Eclipse Day India 2011, Call for talks

Eclipse Day India, 2011 edition is in the works and its time to think about submitting a talk. Just like previous year, we will have three types of talks. Short talks, Long talks and Extended talks.

Short talks are for 30 minutes. This is a good one if you want to introduce a new concept to the audience (like CSS styling in e4 or using eGIT).

Long talks are in-depth & advanced talks for 60 minutes on a particular topic. e.g: EMF Tutorial. You are expected to cover the advanced stuff with demos

Extended talks are hands-on workshop for 120 minutes. e.g: Workshop on Xtext. You have to walk-through the subject along with your audience and make them understand the complete concept

Submit your proposals here: http://bit.ly/EclipseDayIndia2011Submissions

The last date for submitting the proposal is Feb 28th 2011, but that doesn't mean you have to wait till that date to submit your great talk. Start submitting the proposals at the earliest.
